The music for BabyEyes™ was specially recorded and mixed using Alpha and Theta frequencies to induce a creative learning state in babies.
The BabyEyes™ DVD features graphic displays designed using the latest vision research, so a baby's developing visual system can actually see the images. The eye movements babies make in response to these picture stories are also based on vision research, to stimulate and exercise babies' vision in a way that maximizes eye coordination and visual maturation.
The BabyEyes™ DVD offers three choices of music coordinated with the graphic displays. Volume 1, "Creative Baby," features original music written and performed by Grammy award winning composer and recording artist Michael Sembello. Mr. Sembello's compositions are based on scientific findings that music can be associated with improved cognitive development (the "Mozart effect"), and on other research suggesting that music incorporating alternating alpha and theta brainwave frequencies can stimulate creative and learning states of mind. The BabyEyes™ Volume 2 ("Sleepy Baby") features soothing and relaxing music by Mr. Sembello, and Volume 3 ("Classic Baby") uses stimulating classical music by audio and multimedia expert Russ Ben-Ezzer Ed.S.
